Where do I live?
The Book
Poog is a friendly and curious little polar bear who is eager to explore the world around him and learn new things.
In the book ‘Poog the Polar Bear in: Where Do I Live?,’ everyone’s favorite little polar bear explores a variety of different environments where animals live (e.g. the forest, the beach, the farm, the city, etc.), culminating in an explanation of where he himself lives and why. This book is primarily intended for children under five years of age (and their parents), and is the first member of a growing family of books and related content that are part of the World of Poog.
The App
Available for iOS devices, the Poog app is offered as a companion to the book, ‘Poog the Polar Bear in: Where Do I Live?’ It contains the same content as the book itself, but in the form of an animated, narrated video. This video is self-running, and offers playback controls as well as projection to AirPlay-compatible devices.
The Authors
Poog Productions’ books and related content are created and written by Jason Cohen, M.D., a practicing physician in Northern California, and Adam Record, a professional designer and illustrator in Utah. They are designed to be engaging and educational for children of all ages and backgrounds. We hope that your family enjoys them as much as ours do!
THE MISSION
Our stories are intended to stimulate children’s curiosity and promote a love of exploration and learning. We hope Poog’s adventures offer fun and unique ways for parents to engage with their children around these goals.
In addition, Poog Productions is committed to supporting childhood health and wellness. A portion of the revenue from each book sold will be donated to organizations promoting pediatric healthcare research. Further, through the end of 2021, all (100%) of the revenue generated from the sale of the companion Poog app will be donated to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
We also welcome opportunities to donate Poog books to pediatric hospitals, children’s wellness programs, and other worthwhile causes.
